What You Need:
- Carpenters Wood Glue
- Small set of Hinges
- Wood (ours is particle wood I think)
- Knife
- Fabric (not necessary if you don't mind the inside)
- Staple Gun
First Cut the top Cushion off the base close to the seam
Then glue both the cushion and wood together
Press down firmly for few minutes (I had a little help from him :) ) then let dry over night
Attach the hinges to each side
Cut the fabric and staple it in the interior tight around the edges and bottom (picture is only edges) (I also added a board leftover for extra support)
I also added a hand just fabric looped and stapled to the wood so when I lifted it every time, the glue wouldn't be strained.
